Granite Counters (Natural Stone)
Granite is a natural mined stone consisting of quartz and feldspar and cut with diamond blades. Each slab is uniquely yours and made of entirely natural materials. When properly sealed, granite countertops are scratch, stain and chip resistant. Granite can last 15 to 20 years and is among the hardest natural substance on earth.
Engineered Stone (Quartz)
Engineered stone such as Caesarstone and Hanstone is made of natural quartz, sands, epoxy resin and pigments. It is available in a larger range of colors than granite and has a nonporous surface that resists scratches. It's easy to maintain, without the annual sealing required by natural stone.
Solid Surface
Corian is made from plastic resin and can be changed to any color. Corian is nonporous, stain-resistant and can be refinished. The countertops are seamless and custom-made to your specifications.
Laminate
Laminate counters are made of plastic-coated synthetics with a smooth surface that's easy to clean. The pieces are cut to size and edges in laminate or wood. There are hundreds of different colors to choose from.
